Talk about California Dreamin’ on a winter’s day!
Below are some of the beautiful images that Emissary Artist Andrew Reilly captured for Palm + Havas for their Michelob Ultra campaign. Andrew and crew traveled to Vancouver, Whistler, Malibu and ended in LA, shooting alongside the broadcast production so the team really had to manage their time to get the most out of the locations and talent – sometimes getting only 10-15 minutes before they broke down for another shot. We’d argue that you would never be able to tell the shots were rushed – the final images are absolutely beautiful!
Check out some behind the scenes shots and finished images below. And a big shout out to Lindsay Tyler (Palm + Havas’ art producer) and the entire Palm + Havas team for working tirelessly to assist in ensuring Andrew and team got what they needed for each shot. You can see the full sized images and the rest of Andrew’s new work right here.
This campaign is also featured on the Workbook today!

Andrew’s most recent work is focused on shooting kids as they are: mischievous, rebellious, carefree, and youthful…simply kids just being kids. After seeing a picture of this abandoned car on Facebook, Andrew with the assistance of local producer, Matt Cruz, went out and shot this short little piece. Andrew said he wanted to experiment shooting stills and motion throughout the course of the shoot; each provided a slightly different way of looking at the subject which is really fresh and exciting. Andrew has already planned another project like this–we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

1,758 miles, 15 crew and talent, 10 days, 4 states, and 3 RVs equals 1 amazing production for JanSport by Andrew Reilly.
With some of the “talent” none other than The Stone Foxes, Andrew, the agency, client and crew hit the road in San Francisco and made their way down the Pacific Coast Highway for an epic road trip – stopping for shows, impromptu antiquing, exploring the White Sands of New Mexico and general tomfoolery. They wrapped things up at SXSW after stops in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Phoenix and Marfa.
With a group that’s known for rocking out, it’s no wonder that these images and ads capture the fun of the brand AND the band so effortlessly.
